Andhra Pradesh board declare results for the class 10th board exams



The results of class 10th exams for the year 2019 have been released by the Andhra Pradesh board. According to the reports, more than 6 lakh students appeared for the board exams in March-April this year and more than 94.88% of the students have successfully cleared the AP SSC exams. The results were released by the School Commissioner Sandhya Rani. The results are available on the official website and apps hosted by the Real-Time Governance System of Andhra Pradesh (RTGS). Among the districts of the state, the highest pass percentage has been recorded by the East Godavari district where 98.19 percent students have cleared the exams. The least performance has been recorded by the Nellore district where pass percentage is 83.19%. The total number of registered schools with the state are 11,690 of which 5464 schools have registered the 100 percent result. The results of class 12th exams have been released by the Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) for the year 2019. Students who had appeared for the exam can now visit the official website -- mbse.edu.in and download their results. The exams were held from March 5 to March 29. Practical exams for the same were held from February 18 to 19. The results are also available on indianresults.com and examresults.net. The National Testing Agency has released the answer key for the JEE Mains paper 2 held in April. The entrance exam is held to shortlist the candidates for admissions to B.Arch and B. Planning courses. The exam was conducted on April 7 in two shifts and a total of 1,69,725 candidates appeared for the exam. The official answer keys are available on the official website -- jeemain.nic.in. Candidates can visit the official website and download the answer key. Now that the answer key has been released, the NTA is expected to release the results of the exam anytime soon. According to the schedule published by the NTA, the results are expected before May 15, 2019. Meanwhile, the agency has already released the results of the JEE Mains paper 1 which is conducted to shortlist the candidates for the JEE Advanced exam. The exam is used to shortlist the candidates for the undergraduate engineering courses. According to the reports, 24 candidates have scored the 100 percentile in the JEE Mains exam held in January and April.

Telangana board has declared the class 10th results today. The results were declared by the Education Secretary Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy Garu. According to the reports, a total of 5,46,728 students had appeared for the exams of which the board declared 92.43 percent as passed. In 2018, the pass percentage among the students of class 10th was 83 percent which this year has increased to 92.43 percent. Among the boys 91.18% of the total boys have passed and among girls 93.86% of the total girls have passed. The results were announced in a press conference and are now available on the official website. Admit cards for the CLAT exam for the year 2019 released



Admit cards for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for the year 2019 have been released. Candidates who have registered for the exam can now download their admit cards by visiting the official website. Candidates will require their mobile number (registered at the time of filling the form) and password to download the admit card. The exam is scheduled for May 26, 2019 from 3 pm to 5 pm. Earlier, the exam was scheduled for May 12, 2019 but was postponed due to elections. CLAT is an entrance exam held for the admission to 21 National Law Universities in India and 31 private universities also accept CLAT scores. The exam consists of 200 questions and is divided into sections namely English, general knowledge and current affairs, mathematics, legal aptitude and logical reasoning sections. For every wrong answer, candidates are given 0.25 marks in negative. The duration of the exam is of 2 hours. For the PG admissions, the exam consists of 100 questions from the Constitutional Law and other law subjects like Contract, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, IPR and Jurisprudence.

Delhi government directed a pvt. school to return INR 2 crore collected by it as extra fee



On Thursday, Delhi government had ordered Apeejay school, to return the extra fee that it had collected from the students during the financial year 2018-19. The government also rejected the proposal of the school to hike fee citing that there are multiple irregularities in the proposal presented by the school. Manish Sisodia, Delhi Education Minister, told media that the government audited the school’s finances after it received multiple complaints from the parents of the students regarding the fee hike. He said that school had no justified reasons to increase the fee of the students. The principal of the school said that she cannot comment on the allegations made by the government as she has not received the copy of the order. According to the government, the school had a net surplus of INT 30.85 crore and it was arrived by collecting the funds form the parents under several heads. This also include the alleged expenditure of the INR 10 crores which school used to purchase the commercial units in the name of the management society. According to the High Court’s order any capital expenditure cannot be the part of the school’s fee structure.
