CBSE declared CTET 2018 exam results



The results of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 exam have been declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Candidates who have appeared for the exam can visit the official website -- ctet.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in -- and check their results. For the first time more than three lakh candidates have qualified for the Primary School and Middle School in CTET exam 2018 and also for the first time CBSE has declared the result in record 25 days. The answer keys for the same were released on December 30, 2018. The exam was conducted on December 9, 2018 in twenty languages at more than 2100 centers in 92 cities all over the country. Of the total 10,73,545 candidates, 1,78,273 (17 per cent) qualified for primary school teachers i.e., for Class 1 to 5 and out of 8,78,425 candidates, 1,26,968 (15 per cent) cleared the exam for middle school teachers i.e., for Class 6 to 8. From this year onwards, CBSE will send the CTET mark sheets and certificates to the candidates through digilocker only. These are either pushed or can be pulled by the students into their DigiLocker accounts. Candidates should download the digilocker application through and or by visiting the official website - https://digilocker.gov.in/. Candidates who get 60 percent marks in the exam will have their login credentials sent to them by CBSE on their registered e-mail address. By using these credential candidates can access their certificate and mark sheet of the exam. The CTET mark sheet will be digitally signed and will have a QR code which can be scanned by the QR code scanner through the digilocker application.
