State Education Ministers and MHRD to hold meeting tomorrow
Union Human Resource Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' said that a meeting with all the state education ministers will be held tomorrow. In a live interaction with parents and students across the country, Mr. Pokhriyal answered questions regarding exams, results and academics. The minister also asked parents to post their questions as comments. Several parents put forward their demands in which they demand cancellation of the pending board exams. They also raised concerns about the connectivity issue they faced as their children attend online classes. During the lockdown period, several social media campaigns and activities have been launched to keep students engaged and motivated. He also launched an online campaign inviting suggestions from stakeholders on how to make the online education system more robust. The minister has also asked organizations and individuals to submit their suggestions for 'Bharat Padhe Online' campaign through Twitter. Within 3 days of launching the campaign, the ministry received over 3,700 suggestions.
