UP Government to train teachers in COVID-19 Management

UP CM, Yogi Adityanath has decided to train teachers in COVID-19 management so that they cam make the public aware about the virus in an effective manner, Awanish K Awasthi, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh said. On Monday, the CM said that the training of doctors and paramedics in COVID-19 management is of paramount importance and teachers must also be trained in the same. He also said that training personnel belonging basic, technical and vocational education department is important.  The idea behind training is that trained persons are able to spread public awareness and do not cause panic among the people. He has also directed that trained NCC cadets should be deployed at quarantine centers. "All migrant laborers coming from other states should be medically examined before being sent in a quarantine. Trained cadets of the NCC should be deployed at quarantine centers," he said. Mr. Yogi also asked the officials to prepare a plan of action for resuming industrial activities after May 3.
