UP Board warns against fake exam results

UP Board warns against fake exam results

Amid coronavirus breakout, the UP board has issued an advisory for the public regarding fake calls which claim to get students pass (board exams) in exchange for money. The callers are claiming to be board employees. An official notice regarding the same has been released by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) on its official website. The board says that along with the promise to get students passed in the exams they are providing bank account number along with the IFSC code and this is creating confusion among the students and parents regarding the results. The board however, has made that the evaluation process of the board exams 2020 could not be completed due to coronavirus outbreak. The board also said that none of its employees are involved in this type of scam. UPMSP has requested parents not to fall for such traps and requested parents to inform their district school inspector and police about such calls. The board also said that it is looking into the matter and is in touch with the concerned officials.
